You Become What You Believe

You become what you believe.

Society has a way of conditioning us into thinking that we are limited in becoming. Today I want you to think about who you want to become, and the steps that will get you there.

We see inspiring entrepreneurs, moms included, achieving amazing feats everyday. Why not you? We are all special and contain natural talents, even if those talents are not singing and dancing or acting.

Today I want you to think about your natural talents. What are you good at doing? What do you enjoy doing? Who are you as an entrepreneur?

I was observing my son playing games and he had a headset on. I couldn’t help noticing his leadership skills as he delegated tasks to the players via voice command. The day before he was telling me he didn’t know what he was good at doing. I will make pointing out his leadership a task in my mom book. I want him to believe in what he can become. I want you to believe in what you can become as well, regardless of what you see as obstacles.

Believe in yourself!

  1. Oftentimes, at least in my case, it is easier to see the talents in others than to notice them in yourself. Which probably explains why I started freelancing and blogging in my mid-thirties instead of earlier. It is my goal for both my daughters to develop the self-awareness I lacked most of my life as early as possible. So in that way, I can turn my lack of self-awareness deficit into a positive life lesson for the two most important people in my life. I’d say that’s a pretty good tradeoff!! 🙂 Great post.
